Does your woman wear too much makeup? It must be difficult with the social construct of beauty needing to meet a certain body frame and size. Makeup is just another paradigm in the many facades women must endear.
I know there’s been a trend amongst celebrities recently charging full steam ahead with the “NO Makeup” movement, but they are not claiming to be anti-makeup, so what is the point exactly?
There are many men across many cultures who insist their women not indulge in the application of makeup. At some point in time I may have even gave preference to the “natural” look, after giving it some thought though, I don’t really mind whether my woman wears make up or not. I think women who wear makeup exhibit bravery.
Let me break it down. My woman wears makeup, she even makes fun of the matter and says “let me put on my face”. She’s fully aware it alters her look, most importantly though she is conscious that it in no way, shape or form outlines her beauty. Makeup for her is more like a way for certain aspects of what she considers imperfections (a pimple one day, wrongly plucked eyebrow the other) to be made perfect. To me, none of this matters. It’s like changing the rims on an Audi R8, it’s really not required, some people tend to want to switch it up anyway.
I personally think she’s beyond beautiful without makeup and I really hope I have made that clear to her. I must say though, I do value her with it on. I know it’s not because she’s insecure about her looks, she applies it to draw (no pun intended) her personality on her facial appearance in a way that best makes her feel comfortable with herself.
In the manner that she applies her makeup, I would go as far as saying she’s a professional. Whenever we go out on a special occasion, the time she spends on herself to compliment her appearance conjures a level of intricacy that one must appreciate. I sure as hell do!
The one thing I like the most of her use of makeup, is that after a long day’s work or wherever she comes home from, she comes home to me. She comes home and removes it, and she feels very comfortable in front of me and I feel blessed and pleased that I can give her such comfort. Her vibrant personality is the true animation in the room. The makeup is more like a flash of light that can grab your attention, shimmering beauty along with courage, the courage to prove that nothing in this world is unadulterated.
